Who Am I?
I’m a visual artist, educator, facilitator, and mother of two living in West Philadelphia. I’m passionate about the power of art for trauma-informed, anti-racist education, and parenting for liberation. I’ve worked in community arts nonprofits for the past 15 years and love learning and creating in collaboration!
My Art
My cut paper, watercolor, and mixed media works are inspired by the beauty of nature, womanhood, sisterhood, and informed by intersectional feminism, and social justice movements. I am always looking for new collaborations, with artists, poets, and anyone interested in creative and interdisciplinary story-telling.
Work with Me
As an experienced educator, facilitator, teaching-artist, and nonprofit leader, I consult with schools and organizations on curricula, school culture, adolescent development and rites of passage, teaching practice, leadership and organizational development. I’m also available for art workshops for adults and youth of all ages.
